Badminton

The team, made up of Kevin Flanagan, Danreb Matcha, Anees Niazi and Jamie McMahon and coached by Mrs. McCrave, faced High School in what was a very close final. Although the match ended in a 3-3 tie between the two teams (With each team winning 2 singles and 1 doubles match) after the overall points that each team scored throughout the games were accumulated, it was revealed that De La Salle had won by 161 points to 147.

De La Salle had defeated a number of teams to progress to the final, including Gormanston College, St. Fintan's College, Terenure College, Templeogue College, St. Benildus College and Drimnagh Castle. It was a great victory for the team and they will now take part in the Leinster Schools finals in Baldoyle Badminton Centre on the 5th March.

We congratulate them on their victory and wish them the best of luck in the Leinster Schools finals.
