Sports Day 2012 - (See gallery section also)

The winners of the best Athlete awards were as follows:

-          First year                           > Hudaifa Delaney.

-          Second Year                       > Sam Fennesey and Kevin O'Neill (Joint).

-          Third year                           > Jamie MacMahon.

-          Transition year                    >

-          Fifth year                            >

-          Sixth year                           > Scott Finlay.

A new addition to sports day was the delicious catering supplied by one of our TY classes, who as part of their mini company sold various barbecue food. This was a most welcome addition and was a very successful business venture with all of the stock selling out and a healthy profit being made. Mr Gerry McCann and his class deserve great credit for their efforts.

After all the events had run their course, the teacher's football team took the field against our sixth years. The game was played in a hard yet friendly spirit, and in the end the teams could not be separated at two goals apiece. Well done to all who took part.

And so another successful sports day was over for another year.
