The College Mourns the Death of John O'Leary

Monday, April 9, 2012

The College mourns the death of John O'Leary last Thursday after a long battle with cancer. John was a first-day student in the College and also a member of the teaching staff. He then became a Dept. of Education (later NEPS) psychologist and was a great friend both professionally and personally to the College. He was a regular speaker for the Parent Teacher Association and a rugby referee in the College. His funeral is on Tuesday 10th April at 10am in St John the Evangelist Church in Ballinteer. The College flag flies at half-mast in his honour. We extend our sympathies to his wife Noreen and to his family, especially to his son Cathal, who is also a past pupil.
