Our De La Salle Churchtown Junior rugby team today did themselves and their school proud in an incredibly close fought cup match vs Tullow Community School. The game ended in a 30-27 win to Tullow with a last play of the game penalty that put the home team ahead.
DLSC leading by 12 with 20 minutes to go and playing well will feel disappointed that they did not finish the game out.
Some notable performances were that of Anthony Downes, Zviko Kufazviei, Lukas Grigatis and Elliot Looney. The team were distraught at the sound of the final whistle and but they should feel very proud of themselves and each other. WE ARE SALLE!!!
